Eiga reports that Gackt will voice a guest role in Supernatural the Animation, the anime adaptation of the popular American TV show, Supernatural!
Gackt will play Andy, a character who appeared early in the live-action series. Like Sam Winchester, Andy received special powers from a demon as one of the chosen Special Children. Andy will be a crucial character in the The Chosen Ones Part I (Erabareshimono-tachi Zenpen), which is the last episode of the first anime season.This isn't the first time Gackt is involved in doing voice over work in anime. He voiced roles in Tono to Issho, Shiki, and New Fist of the North Star. He also narrated last year's commercials for the Berserk anime project.
Accordingly, Gackt watches many overseas live-action television series, with Supernatural as his favorites. He will make a guest appearance at the world premiere of the anime version on February 3. Warner Home Video will launch the anime on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan with a starter disc on February 23, followed by two boxes on March 9 and April 6.
