Fullmetal Alchemist 2011 Film Release Date Announced!


On the official Aniplex email newsletter and official website for the 2011 Fullmetal Alchemist film, Fullmetal Alchemist: Milos no Sei-Naru Hoshi will open in Japanese theaters on July 2, 2011!


This new film is said to be about, "Edward Elric and his younger brother Alphonse — tossed by the waves of destiny, the two are still on their journey…." And according to its teaser's tagline, that it will "finally tell the story of forbidden bonds."

Aniplex also announced that there will be a Fullmetal Alchemist Festival 2011 event on May 22 in Tokyo. The voice cast and the musical artists behind the theme songs (such as SCANDAL, Chemistry, Yui and Nico Touches the Walls) are slated to appear.

Fullmetal Alchemist Movie this Summer 2011


The official website of the upcoming Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood film has just posted the official trailer of the upcoming film which is said to be released Summer of next year!


Called, Fullmetal Alchemist: Milos no Sei-Naru Hoshi, this film, according to the official website is about, "Edward Elric and his younger brother Alphonse — tossed by the waves of destiny, the two are still on their journey…." And according to its teaser's tagline, that it will "finally tell the story of forbidden bonds."

Aside that most of the characters will reprise their respective roles, as seen in the teaser it seems that we will have some new characters.

The film will be directed by Kazuya Murata (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion), with script written by Yūichi Shinpo (Doraemon: Shin Nobita no Uchū Kaitakushi), with character designs and Chief Animation director, Kenichi Konishi (Tokyo Godfathers) and BONES, who is responsible for the animation of the first series, Brotherhood and Conqueror of Shamballa returns to produce this film.
